About Me...
Growing up, Alison has always had a hunger for understanding. Whether it's understanding the scales of "Do-Re-Mi" with her mom at the ripe age of two, understanding what makes a person/character who they are, or understanding what makes a story (in any form) important to tell, Alison needs to get to the bottom of it.
Born in Everett, Washington, Alison first tackled this need composing songs on her trampoline to unpack her desire to be a cloud (seriously deep). She also read every children's series she could get her hand on, falling in love with predicting the ending or finding the "why". She spent her summers at KidStage theatre camps, afternoons in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap classes, weekends in Choir, and she began to find the joy in exploring other lives.
After moving across country to the Lakes Region in New Hampshire, her love for understanding began to explode. In love with the stars, she was mesmerized by the secrets of the universe; from the order of a galaxy to the order of the mind. She found herself in love with discovering everything's inner-workings; romanticizing hundreds of different possible lives. Though logically, one person can only explore so much.
She had always loved performing, though it was sitting in a darkened theatre watching Katherine McPhee pour her soul into "She Used To Be Mine" when it finally clicked into place. Through all of this, the only times that allowed her to feel like she truly understood why she was there were in front of her piano, when she had script in hand, or working with others to reach an audience. This was what she had to do.
Naturally, life followed suit. Alison is currently working towards her B.A. in Musical Theatre from DeSales University. She plans to graduate May 2025.
